April 28 is celebrated in many countries around the world as Occupational Safety and Health Day, which is an occasion to remind that ensuring proper, safe and healthy working conditions is everyone’s responsibility.
Every year Chaarat Kapan carries out various activities on the topic of occupational safety. This year, the Company’s Health and Safety Department conducted an awareness course for elementary school students in Geghanush Secondary School. The students were taught, how each student should be able to realize the risks of any activity, both in everyday life and at school, and maintain first the safety of himself and then the environment.
Raising awareness of occupational hazards and risks, as well as their prevention and control is very important and a culture of safe movement should be instilled in us from an early age.
Chaarat is committed to host such awareness trainings with various organizations and institutions of the communities on a continuous basis.
